The Cheaters Edition of Monopoly comes with a handcuff!
Based on the rules of Monopoly, manufacturer Hasbro launches a special edition from time to time. Manufacturers are aware that rich new players will "bankrupt" sooner or later, so the "Monopoly: The Cheaters Edition" was launched in 2017 to encourage players to "get out of the cats" and to subvert the tradition!
The biggest feature of the new monopoly is the addition of 15 fraudulent task cards, including "The Coward" (disregarding the number of dice thrown, the number of random movements in the move), and the "imitation of rent for public rental" (receiving rent for others' properties), and "Luxurious Sidewards" (Sneaking less money when looking for other players).
At the beginning of the game, 5 task cards are randomly placed on the game board. The player can challenge the task on one of the cards at any time. If the fraud is not discovered, the reward on the back of the card can be obtained, for example, the free covenant/hotel. On the other hand, if they are caught, they will be put in prison immediately and will be punished. To put it simply, we must fight for the sake of winning, and the children seem to need "parental guidance"!
- Some of the cheats include:
- Stealing money from the bank
- Placing a hotel on one of your pieces of property
- Removing a hotel from someone else's property
- aking an extra $100 in Monopoly money from the bank when you pass go
- Moving another player's token instead of your own on your turn
- Giving someone less money than you owe them
- Collecting rent for someone else's property
Speaking of punishment, another highlight of the new millionaire is the physical handcuffs that must be handcuffed when they are in prison. In addition to the old methods of release, there are two new methods. For example, there are other players who are imprisoned for "death", and the first prisoner will be released without penalty. In addition, if the fraudster's task card is "escaped" on the game board, the prisoner can secretly remove the handcuffs. If he successfully escapes, he can not only proceed to the next property that has not been purchased, but also obtain the land for free. Disguised as free "on the train", I believe it will attract fewer players to take the initiative in prison!
"Monopoly: The Cheaters Edition" comes with game board, plastic handcuffs, 6 redesigned chess pieces, 22 contract books, 15 fraudster assignments, 16 chances, 16 public welfare cards, 16 hotels, 2 dice, game coins, and bank tray.
The was another USA version released just for Walmart. This version showed no cuff on the fron approximately a quarter of the box lid in a bright yellow showing a counterfeit money pack and 3 extra cash-themed tokens. You can see it here.
