All Blacks Charity Edition
(New Zealand)
Only 4000 made!
New Zealand's national team joined the likes of English Premiership football heavyweights Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in having a version of the board game Monopoly made in their honour.
Rather than wheel and deal London property landmarks, the All Blacks version enables participants to buy, rent and mortgage their favourites All Blacks.
Current All Blacks are valued according to their test caps so captain Richie McCaw is rated the most expensive player at $400 - the equivalent of Mayfair. Mils Muliaina is $350 (Park Lane) while Stephen Donald and Kieran Read are at the bottom rung of the property ladder - alongside each other on Whitechapel Road and Old Kent Road ($60).
London's railways are converted to $200 test venues in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Dunedin. The Tri-Nations (Electricity Company) can be bought for $150, while the Iveco Series (Water Works) is also $150.
This limited edition was made to raise money for New Zealand Rugby's Union official charity, KidsCan.
