Inside a green cardboard box is a black travel case. The gameboard is in the bottom part of the case and consists of squares in the colours of the streets, 4 spaces with an engine and for the rest 1 for Electric Company and 1 for Water Works. Further there are 10 dice, a score pad and a pencil.

On the dice are except the numbers 50 - 100 - 150 - 200 - 250 - 300 - 400 and 500 also other elements of the game including the "Go To Jail" policeman.

The object of the game is to be first to reach the point score decided beforehand.

On your turn, throw all the dice as many times as you wish to get as many "streets"" of the same colour and so get the highest score you can. To that end a dice have to be placed on an appropriate space after each throw. If you get 3 policemen (one throw or a number of throws during one turn), your turn ends and you lose all the points for that turn.

On each turn the points have to be added up for all the matches you have made. The points do not correspond to the numbers on the dice, but they are only subject to the colour of the space they are placed on. Only in case you end your turn before you make even one match, you'll get the sum total shown on the dice on any one unfinished property as your score for that turn.
