The people of Leiden now have their own Monopoly game. Putting a bunch of hotels on the Rapenburg, becoming the new owner of Naturalis or buying Douzastraat. The residents of the city were allowed to contribute ideas about the famous Leiden streets, squares and buildings that adorn the sign.

The game box, the board, the Chance and Community Chest cards, in fact the entire game has been adapted to Leiden style. You can still go to jail as some classics remain unchanged. The game was created with suggestions from Leiden residents, who could propose streets and buildings via a special Facebook page that should not be missing in the game. The result is a home game full of well-known Leiden locations.
