Explore the city of Canterbury in its own special edition of Monopoly! Tour Canterbury's hottest properties, sites, stations and utilities. Invest in houses and hotels and watch the rent come pouring in!

The idyllic city of Canterbury is bursting with wonderful things to do and places to see. From historic museums to soaking up the culture with collections ranging from world explorers and travellers to ancient Egypt. Start your journey by watching a T20 Match at The Spitfire Ground St Lawrence or treat yourself to a shopping spree at the various malls. If you're hungry for more entertainment you could watch a show at the picturesque theatres. What better way to end your journey than visiting two UNESCO World Heritage sights; St Augustine’s Abbey and Canterbury Cathedral. All these sites and more in the Canterbury Edition of Monopoly.

The board is largely constructed in themes. There is a heritage set, a leisure one, an educational set and also a tourist one.The four train stations from the London Monopoly original take on a ‘travel’ theme.

Canterbury become the very first Kent location to land its own official board, the honour of opening the first game fell to eight-year-old Leila Webb and her brother Lucas, 10, from Canterbury - as well as a third primary schoolchild from the city. All three won a competition to be ‘VIPs’ (Very Important Players) for the day.

There is a problem with the first print run of this edition where Winning Moves U.K. bosses have accidentally used a picture of Rochester Castle (from the Medway) on the board. Therefore all you collector's out there will be wanting two copies!
