This special edition celebrates the iconic Snowy Mountains region, offering both a nostalgic nod to traditional family ski holidays and a way to support local organisations.

Snowy Mountains Monopoly found its roots in a heartfelt collaboration between two community champions: Ivan Slavich, CEO of Service One Mutual, the parent company for Community Bank Cooma – Bendigo Bank, and Marnie Stewart from The Community Chest, Cooma.

The pair embarked on this journey to not only highlight the region, but also to generate crucial funds for the Community Chest, Cooma, as well as Snowy Mountains Wildlife Rescue (LAOKO), and local ski patrols.

This edition transforms traditional components with iconic Snowy Mountains identities. Uniquely, Snowy Hydro stands as the water works, Red Energy takes on the electric company, and playing pieces feature a skier, snowboarder, the Thredbo Gondola, and the new Perisher 6-seater, among other local quirks. The board also proudly displays winners of a local photo competition, showcasing iconic scenic shots of the region.
