A completely new type of city tour is celebrating its premiere in Leipzig today: the Monopoly tour. The walk through the city center is based on a Monopoly Special Edition from “Winning Moves”, a company that has long been reforming the original Monopoly with new game boards whose street names are identical to those of well-known metropolises. The publisher already has an impressive 21 city versions, which you can purchase from your trusted game retailer.

The tour in Leipzig lasts 2.5 hours and takes a maximum of 25 participants through Ritterstrasse, the Naschmarkt, the Mädlerpassage and all the way to the market. In keeping with the game, the economic issues surrounding Leipzig are at the forefront of the tour. To enhance the feeling even further, the tour guides appear in typical Monopoly outfits, with tails and top hats.
