Follow in the footsteps of iconic rock band Queen in this special edition Queen MONOPOLY game!

Making a board game is comparable to making an album. (It took a year and a half to create!)

Created with the full collaboration of the band, this edition brings you six collectible Queen tokens, custom buildings and a gameboard that depicts milestones from Queen’s career: from the band’s formation in 1970, right up to the Wembley Stadium and Knebworth Park show in 1986 – Freddie Mercury’s last appearances.

Roll the dice! Roll the trucks! And seek out your destiny in the global world of rock music in this special collector’s edition of MONOPOLY!

Advance to Wembley, Hyde Park, The Forum Los Angeles – will you owe rent or reap the rewards?

You’ll buy gigs (properties) and build your stage blocks (houses) up to a full stage production (hotel).

The board’s artwork comes from the Live Killers album.

Each property on the board corresponds with actual venues Queen played (authentic photos and all), from their first show at Imperial College to their last with Freddie Mercury at Knebworth Park.

The board game operates much in the same way as traditional Monopoly, but is comprised entirely of Queen touchstones, with stations replaced by concert venues the band have played at, and Chance Cards renamed In the Lap of the Gods after a track from their 1974 album Sheer Heart Attack.

But the most interesting part of the game appears to be the six silver tokens you can use on the board, all of which have been specially designed to provoke nostalgia in Queen enthusiasts. Along with a guitar, a hammer (as in Hammer to Fall) and a wartime radio (for Radio Gaga, you see), you can also choose between a miniature version of the spooky robot that decorated the cover of their 1977 album News of the World, a fat-bottomed girl on a bicycle, and a vacuum cleaner that harks back to the band's iconic video for I Want to Break Free.
