In the third quarter of 2008, a new era in MONOPOLY was born. The MONOPOLY Brand design was changed all over the world, and the new look was exclusively released and only available here on World of MONOPOLY on behalf of Hasbro.

The MONOPOLY board has been standardised around the world. That means, standard colours around the world for the money, standard tokens and the first set of properties being Brown (not Dark Purple as the United States version was).
