In the third quarter of 2008, a new era in MONOPOLY will be here. The MONOPOLY Brand design is being changed all over the world, and this is an early sneak peak, exclusively released and only available here on World of MONOPOLY on behalf of Hasbro.

The MONOPOLY board is to becom standardised around the world. That means, standard colours around the world for the money, standard tokens and the first set of properties being Brown (not Dark Purple as the United States version is currently).
