Corona Schools 60th Anniversary (Nigeria)

Logo

Corona School has joined a handful of the world’s most famous schools to have a customised Monopoly board game. This special commemorative edition is the First African School edition of the world famous family board game.

Pupils, parents, teachers and alumni will be able to amass a portfolio of school landmarks such as The Classroom Block, Agbara and the Corona School Hall, Gbagada with the throw of a dice. Every property square on the board, except for the four corners, has been replaced with a Corona School reference providing a sense of nostalgia and cherished memories paying homage to the traditions and essence of the school.

The Corona School Edition of Monopoly incorporates each of the school's houses and replaces the traditional Community Chest and Chance Cards with unique school rules. The four corners of the board, including the infamous Go to Jail, have remained in their original form. Rather than receiving a fine for speeding or winning a cash prize in a beauty contest, players of the Corona School version will be punished for being caught with contraband in the hostel or awarded the Nora Majekodunmi Scholarship for academic excellence.
