Map of Greece.

Most probably the introduction of Monopoly in Greece was not until before the early nineteensixtees, with the black box in the Waddingtons design.

However, after a few Waddingtons based editions the Parker design was introduced, the editions being made (?) and publised by Remoundo.

In the first half of the ninetees finally Hasbro Hellas S.A. took over.

Black Greek box, ±1961.Edition: Standard black box edition
Publisher: Waddington/Franz Schmidt, Spiele-Fabrik - München -  ±1961
Dimensions of the box: ±25 x 50 cm
The game:
This one of the earliest Greek editions is from the collection of David Miller - UK.

Waddingtons-board-with-Greek-properties-±1961.This Greek black box edition is according to the standard Waddington-UK design of all European countries in the post war period between 1945 and 1960, meaning it being different from the Parker-USA design.

Important differences between the Waddingtons and Parker design can be seen from the board:

The red and white sticker showing the "engines illustration" on the box
as well as on one part of the board's back does not show a "patent
pending" or "trade mark" nor a "copyright".
The color of the
The engine on the station spaces is green and it points backwards.
The names on the properties are mentioned twice  so that it can be read from all sides.
The Entoli (Order) spaces on the board only have the Waddingtons > sign in a black dot, rather than a blue
treasure chest (Parker).
Instead of the Parker Gold Ring on the Super Tax space there is only a tiny black square, typical for Waddington.

Greek banknotes, 1955, very similar to German ones.German-banknotes-manuf-Frans-Schmidt-period-1955-±1965.Apart from the typical Waddingtons design of the game board and box the banknotes are even more striking for this Greek edition.
Those 7 denominations with the rubber bands belong to this Greek edition, while the picture with 8 denominations show the German banknotes in all editions manufactured by Frans Schmidt Spiele-Fabrik in München-Germany in the period 1955 till ±1965.

This cannot be a coincidence, reason why I think this first (?) Greek Monopoly edition has been
manufactured in Germany!

The tokens going with this set cannot be the originals, because it are 4 hollow aggravation pawns and 4 hollow cars, all of plastic.
The Entoli (Order) and Apofasi (Decision) cards are numbered.
The houses and hotels are made of dull wood.

The Greek red-white-red box, ref. #402.Edition: Standard, ref.#402
Publisher: Waddingtons House of Games Ltd. - 1972
Dimensions of the box: 25.7 x 50.2 cm
The game:
The latest copyright date mentioned on the game board is 1961, but the instructions bear the year 1972, so we date this set in that year.
This game is the Hellenic issue of Waddingtons so with the streets of Athens

These are, from Afetiria onwards:

Kipseli street - Eptaniso street - Station (for the direction) Peloponnesus - Bathis square - Liosta street - Acharnon street - Filaki (jail) - America square - King square - Patision street - Station (for the direction) Tatio - Pirea street - Athens street - Aiolos street - Eleftheri stathmefsi - Praxitelo street - Korai street - Omonia square - Station (for the direction) Larissa - Stadium street - University street - Square of the constitution - ?? - Academy street - Skoufa street - Herodus street - Station (for the direction) Pirea - Queen Sofia ave. and Amalia ave..

The lid of the box bears the for Waddingtons so characteristic colors red - white -red exactly equal to the English box with the same Ref. number.
The game board is of strong cardboard and has a red back. It lies on the rim of the innerbox.
The engines on the spaces of the stations point backwards and have the colors green - black
The 6 metal tokens are resp.: boat - shoe - car - hat - dog and iron.
The pink Entoli (Order) and  Apofasi ( Decision) cards are not illustrated.
The green plastic houses and the red hotels have overhanging roofs and a chimney.
The money consist of the well-known Waddingtons banknotes, so with the engines pattern on the back.
The white plastic tray in the inner box has 8 holes.

This set is manufactured in England.

Edition: The Greek Monopoly
Publisher: Inland make, Remoundo or EPA? - after 1985?
Dimensions of the box: 25.5 x 50 cm
The game:
Presumably they started making games in Greece in the period between 1970 and 1990 which look like more or less to those of PARKER BROTHERS. However, there is no reference on any set to any patent date, nor is the maker of the set mentioned.

So it is obvious that this game has to RESEMBLE the standard American and European sets of the seventies, i.e. the game board is shown in a green and blue square, with the red MONOPOLY bar on the right. Under that also the "logo of Uncle Pennybags between 2 engines" is printed but with the distinction that Uncle is not in a red square and without a $- or £-sign! The game board shown (with GO) is an illustration of the set "NEW MONOPOLY, SUPER GREEK EDITION", issued by Remoundo.

As soon as you open the box however, you'll see the BIG DIFFERENCE. The empty innerbox contains, loose spread:

A soft game board the indistinct fold of it is parallel to side one, going right across the word MONOPOLY written in
Greek characters.
The title deeds are printed on two slips of soft carton and have to be cut out.
The same for the yellow Chance- and red Community Chest cards, which however are not stated as such. They do have exactly the same funny illustrations as on the American cards.
The money consits of only red banknotes (with engine and house) with denominations of resp.: 100 - 500 - 1000 - 2000 - 5000 - 10.000 and 50.000 Drachmes. They have to be cut out as well.
The 6 tokens are plastic "clowns caps".
There is but one little die of 7 x 7 mm with this game.
The 16 houses and 6 hotels are all of green plastic! They both have chimneys.
The instructions are printed on the inside of the lid.

The game board differs in many ways from the one of the Waddingtons edition, like:

The streets are not exclusively of ATHENS but of THESSALONIKI as well. They are also equal to those of "New Super Monopoly", "New Monopoly, Super Greek Edition" and others.
The engines on the squares of the stations are also pointing to the right but they have the colors yellow - red - black.
There is no coil in the lamp of Electric Company and the tap of Water Works is different as well.
In Jail sits a frightened looking and his nails biting black haired man.
The Free Parking space is illustrated with a more modern car.
The policeman who direct you to Jail is wearing a cape and has no whistle.

The price of this set amounted to C£ 2.- (US$ 4.-) at Cyprus in November 1995.

Edition: New Super Monopoly
Publisher: Remoundo - after 1985?
Dimensions of the box: 35.6 x 50.4 cm
The game:
Because of the fact that the picture of the board on the cover is exactly the same as of the "New Monopoly, Super Greek Edition" set the not mentioned publisher has to be REMOUNDO. Furthermore a link that most probably not exsist is made to Parker Brothers by Uncle Pennybags appearing from the O.

It is remarkable that the board inside the box, viz. that of the
"The Greek Monopoly" set
(so with the Greek word for GO and the Chance-space close to Go), differs from that
shown on the lid.
In the centre of the light green playfield stays MONOPOLY in Greek.
Also the Chance- and Community Chest cards, the property deeds and banknotes are exactly the same and have to be cut loose.
The locomotives on the station spaces are of the Waddingtons model (and pointing to the right) but each one has different colors.
The 6 tokens are plastic pawns.
There is here also but one little die of 9 x 9 x 9 mm.
The 16 houses are red (!) and the 6 hotels are of green plastic. They have NO chimneys.
The instructions are printed on the inside of the cover.

The price of this set amounted to C£ 3.- (US$ 6.-) in November 1995 at Cyprus.

Edition: New Monopoly, Super Greek Edition
Publisher: Remoundo - after 1985?
Dimensions of the box: 35.6 x 50.4 cm
The game:
This also far overdone large box now does contain the board shown on the lid, so with:

GO instead of AFETERIA.
the spaces for the Chance- and Community cards in the
other corners.
the black Parker Brothers locomotive on the station fields.
the Parker Brothers convict, red car on "Free Parking" and policeman with whistle.

The game board however is still of soft carton and the fold is parallel to the first side again. The dark green midfield shows MONOPOLY, so not in Greek characters.
The 6 tokens are plastic pawns.
There is no die with this set, but an arrow that has to be rotated over a disc numbered from 1 to 6.
The 16 houses are blue grey and the 12 equally sized (!) hotels are of pink plastic! They both do have chimneys.
The instructions are printed on the inside of the cover.

The price of this set amounted to C£ 3.- (US$ 6.-) in November 1995 at Cyprus.

Edition: Monopoly (in Greek characters), (orange box),
            without reference

Publisher: Remoundo - after 1990?
Dimensions of the box: 26.0 x 50.4 cm
The game:
This game of inland make is going to look more like a Parker Brothers issue because:

A part of the board around Go with 2 dice is shown on the lid.
The innerbox is containg a white plastic insert with 7 holes for the
banker.
The game board is of strong carton with its fold vertical to the first side.
The streets still are of both ATHENS and TESSALONIKI and the engines on the stations are of the Waddingtons model,
however in various colors. Again the 3 corners are with "nail biting rascal", "modern car" and "cape wearing policeman". The folded board rests on the edges of the innerbox.
There are "real" property deeds now, dim. 59 x 89 mm.
Also the ENTOLI- (= Order) and APOFASI- (= Decision) cards do not need to be cut out. However it is strange that the back of both cards is green. The texts are no more illustrated.
The banknotes (dim. 49 x 94 mm) have a different color for each denomination.
There are 32 (red) houses and 12 (blue) hotels.
There are 2 dice (dim. 10 x 10 x 10 mm) with this set.
A loose instructions is supplied. The fold of it is at the top.

The 6 tokens are plastic pawns.

The price of this set amounted to C£ 5.25 (US$ 10.50) in November 1995 at Cyprus.

Edition: Monopoly, (red box), without reference
Publisher: Remoundo - after 1990?
Dimensions of the box: 26.0 x 50.4 cm
The game:
The differences compared to the "orange box" are but small, viz.:

Now the word MONOPOLY is not in Greek characters on the deep red
colored lid.
The name REMOUNDO of the manufacturer is shown.
The title deed cards do not have rounded corners.
The 32 houses are green and the 12 hotels are red again.
The 6 tokens are "clowns caps" again.
The plastic insert in the innerbox is blue.

Edition: Mini Monopoly + Philaki
Publisher: EPA, "made in EEC" - after 1990?
Dimensions of the box: 22.1 x 35.0 cm
of the little board: 33 x 33 cm
The game:
Besides that this game differs from the Parker Brothers version because of the fact that you can also play the game Philaki (Snakes and Ladders) on the back side of the board, there are still a few more differences such as:

The colors of the streets are resp.: dark purple - light blue - blue - light brown red - yellowgreen and … pink.
The streets are not exclusively of Athens but also of Thessaloniki (dark purple = Queen Olga Street and
University Street - green = Aristotelos Square, Egnatia Street and Julianus Street).
As far as the streets of Athens are concerned they have different names or are situated at other spaces.
The locomotives on the fields of the stations are yellow - red - black and face to the right.
The Chance and Community Chest stack spaces have been exchanged. The back of the Chance cards is yellow, that of the Community Chest cards is red.
The policeman who sends you to Jail wears a cape and has no whistle! The rascal in the Jail is the one we do recognize.
In the innerbox is a red insert on which at the left are the rules for MONOPOLY and on the right those of Snakes and Ladders.
The tokens are 6 plastic "clownscaps".
The 32 houses are red and the 12 hotels are yellow. They both have chimneys.
The one sided printed banknotes have to be cut out of sheets before they can be used. However, it resembles the Parker Brothers MONOPOLY-money, i.e. it does show those spaces with an engine and a house.

The price of this plain game is accordingly: it amounted to DR 1900 (US$ 7.-) in August 1998.

Edition: Monopoly The Original, ref. 1090
Publisher: Parker Bros./Nilco Greece - 1990?
Dimensions of the box: 26.0 x 50.8 cm
The game:
This issue is manufactured "under licence" but it is not mentioned of whom. Therefore 2 influences are noticeable, both that of Parker Brothers (see Uncle Pennybags arizing enthusiasticly again of the O) as that of Waddingtons.

The design of the solid board (with red back) and the title deeds is according to Parker Brothers but there are some Waddingtons influences as well, like the locomotives on the stations being green and going to the right. Also, like in the Waddingtons made sets, the names of the properties on the fields are mentioned twice. The pressed fold of the board is parallel to the 2nd and 4th side. Finally the Order cards have a blue back whereas the Decision cards have a pink one. The banknotes have the Parker Brothers design, so with engine and house, and are unprinted on the back side.
The streets are the same streets of Athens as those of the Waddingtons issue, ref.#402.
The 10 tokens are of pewter and "made in Hong Kong". The green plastic houses do have a chimney, the red hotels haven't. The innerbox has a red plastic insert with 8 holes.

An almost identical set was made by the Egyptian works of Nilco in the Arab language.

Edition: Monopoly, No. 8070
Publisher: Best Ltd. - Athens - 1992?
Dimensions of the box: 27.3 x 48.0 cm
The game:
The fact that Uncle Pennybags appears on the lid as well as the word MONOPOLY in a frame is printed slantwise on the midfield of the purple board, with Uncle Pennybags out the O, makes assuming an official cooperation with Parker Brothers. On the other hand the "double ring of properties" as such is that deviating that this game definitely can NOT be issued under the flag of Parker Brothers.
In the first "ring of streets" the usual combinations occur, the colors and prices of the properties however, are totally different. For example the red and yellow streets occur on the second side instead of on the third. All stations are now airports of Athens (resp. to Paris, Rome, Geneva and London). The man in Jail is a bit deformed, the "Parker car" of Free Parking became dark purple and the policeman of the 3rd corner grew a bit thinner.
At the end of the first ring you continue on the second one. At 2 of the 4 sides are 2 groups of 2 streets, whereas on the other sides is one group of 3 and one of 4 streets. On each of these short sides is a station of Athens, for the directions to Pyrgos, Thessaloniki, Larissa and the Peloponnesus. The engine on the space is very special. At the end of this ring you are back at Go. The yellow Chance- and red Community Chest cards have their Parker Brothers' illustrations again.
The dimensions of the property cards are 55 x 85 cm.
The small (43 x 90 mm) banknotes are specially designed for thid game and have resp. the values of 100 - 500 - 1000 - 2000 - 5000 - 10.000 and 50.000 Drachme.
The 32 green houses and 12 red hotels have overhanging roofs and a chimney. The 2 dice are of normal size again and the 6 heavy plastic tokens look like aggravation pawns. All those parts are packed in a green plastic bag.
The instructions are again on a normally folded paper.

The price of this set amounted to C£ 5,60 (US$ 11.20) in November 1995 at Cyprus.

Edition: Junior Monopoly, No. 9000
Publisher: Best E.P.E. - Athens - 1992?
Dimensions of the box: 27.5 x 48 cm
of the unfolded board: 52.0 x 71.8 cm !
The game:
Because of the fact that this game resembles a lot the JUNIOR sets from Parker Brothers, who for the first time appeared on the market in 1991, we date this Greek edition around 1992.

The extremely large game board of solid carton has 11 spaces between the corners on each long side, whereas the Parker games have 7. Both versions do have 7 on the shorter sides. But … this Greek game has another 18 extra spaces because at the 4th side a loop is made into the midfield of the board!
However, the similarity with Parker Brother sets is rather significant:

Greek Junior Nr. 9000

Parker JUNIOR versions

max. of 4 players - ages 5 to adult max. of 4 players - ages 5 to adult
4 sets of 20 plastic ticket booths 4 sets of 16 plastic ticket booths
the colors of the booths are : green-yellow-red-blue the colors of the booths are : green-yellow-red-blue
4 heavy pawns 4 little cars
50 Chance ("?") cards 24 Chance ("?") cards
banknotes of 10-20-30-40 and 50 Drachme banknotes of 1-2-3-4 and 5 without currency

Finally one big difference must be mentioned: All attributes are "loosely dumped" in the box, whereas the Parker sets always are provided with a plastic tray with holes.

The price of this set amounted to C£ 6.50 (US$ 13.-) in November 1995 at Cyprus.

Edition: Pocket Magnetic Monopoli
Publisher: Petalo - Made in Greece - 1991?
Dimensions of the box: 75 x 137 mm
of the opened case: 135 x 140 mm
The game:
This is a very special issue indeed of a "pocket edition" because it is really very small.
When the black plastic case is opened the 2 outsides form the play board together. (In the centrefield stays the word MONOPOLY, but on the brown box it says MONOPOLI.) Because the game board is that small the names of the streets of Athens as well as their prices stay tranverse in their fields.
Although it is indicated on the board where to put the ENTOLI- and APOFASI-cards they are much too large to really putting them there. This is also valid for the 32 green "houses" and 12 red "hotels" who consist but of strips of solid paper of 12 x 17 mm.
In Jail is a bald rascal and the policeman who sends you to Jail does have a very large hand! The engines on the spaces of the stations are of the Waddingtons model and so they point to the right.
There are 4 colored, magnetic tokens who "stick" on the board. The 2 white dice of 8 x 8 x8 mm have the right dimensions for this set. The little banknotes look like the Parker Bros. model (with house and engine) but the value is in a 7-angle, in which also is mentioned that the currency is Drachme.
The dimensions are the same (30 x 61 mm) for as well the banknotes as the property cards and the Chance- and Community Chest cards.

Edition: Travel Magnetic Monopoly
Publisher: AK Adelko - 1991?
Dimensions of the box: 110 x 205 mm
of the opened case: 202 x 202 mm
The game:
This "travel edition" is indeed a bit larger then the pocket-case of the Petalo firm, but even here no houses nor hotels can be put on the board. The still to cut yellow Chance- and red Community Chest cards are so small (24 x 34 mm) that they precisely fit on the spaces meant for it.

Although this is a totally English game with the streets of London and English instructions we do describe it here because there are indications that AK Adelko is a Greek publisher.

There are 5 colored, magnetic tokens who "stick" on the board. The 2 white dice of 8 x 8 x8 mm have the right dimensions for this set.
Also the "green houses on a yellow background" and "red hotels on a yellow background", the property deeds and banknotes still have to be cut out of the sheets. They are all made of the same one sided glossy carton. The dimensions are of:

the houses and hotels: 16 x 17 mm
the banknotes: 24 x 34 mm
the property deeds: 34 x 48 mm
the Chance - and Community Chest cards: 24 x 34 mm

Note:
This special version is also used for the INDONESIAN set Monopoli kreasi baru Maknit. (see there)

Edition: Standard, ref.06951GR1092
Publisher: Parker Bros./Tonka/Hasbro Hellas S.A.-1993
Dimensions of the box: 26 x 51 cm
The game:
On various parts of the set the date 10.92 is printed, but considering the fact that the instructions show 1993 it can not been issued earlier!
On the lid of this long box is again a picture of the "collected attributes" on a perspective board on a green background. At the bottom of the box is a color picture of the laughing family, but it looks to eachother instead of to the game.
The back side of the board is red just like the plastic insert of the innerbox who contains 7 holes for the banknotes as well as 5 otherone's. The money consists of banknotes Class 'A' with the denotation MONOPOLI - MONOPOLY - MONOPOL and the statement "© 1992 Tonka Corporation".
The Chance (ENTOLI) cards have a red back with a ? and the Community Chest (APOFASI) cards a blue back with treasure chest. The tokens are of heavy metal and "made in China".
The green plastic houses do have a chimney, the red hotels haven't.
These sets were made in Ireland.

Edition: Small box, TRAVEL Monopoly, ref. 06951GR1092
Publisher: Parker Bros./ Tonka Corp./Hasbro Hellas S.A. - 1993
Dimensions of the box: 25.6 x 25.6 cm
The game:
Strangely enough this not so small version of the standard set is called a TRAVEL edition.
Although on the board as well as in the Instructions the date 10.92 is mentioned the rims of the lid shows the year 1993.
As with most of the European sets of this era this set is also manufactured in Ireland and subsequently there is a perspective picture on the lid of the box. But … its composition deviates! The attributes do stay on a Greek board, but there are remarkable differences:

DIFFERENCES

SIMILARITIES

no shoe and car but 1 blue pawn 2 red dice on eachother with 2 x 3 pips
2 green houses and 2 red hotels instead of 1 and 3 the stack of banknotes shows the number 1000
the 2 stacks of property deeds stay different

The picture however, is an accurate copy of the content of the box, because the 6 tokens are plastic pawns indeed and the dice are red with gold pips.
The game board is the same one as that of the Standard version with the same ref. number, but folded twice however. Again the back side is red. The money consists of banknotes with the denotation MONOPOLI - MONOPOLY - MONOPOL and the statement "Copyright 1935 by Parker Brothers USA".
The Chance (ENTOLI) cards have a red back with a ? and the Community Chest (APOFASI) cards a blue back with treasure chest. The green plastic houses nor the red hotels have a chimney.
The insert in the innerbox is of white plastic and has 5 holes.

Edition: MonopolyDeluxe, ref. 14167110
Publisher: Parker Bros./Tonka/Hasbro Hellas S.A. -1994
Dimensions of the box: 26.9 x 26.9 x 8.4 cm
The game:
This is indeed a very luxury and sound issue of the game.
On the lid is a picture that has great resemblance with the one of the standard issues with ref.number 06951, but still deviating: Besides the 3 "gold" tokens (boat, hat and car) the stack of banknotes with high values is striking. Furthermore some property cards, one house and one hotel are put on a part of the 4th side of the game board.

The sound game board has a dark blue back and is folded twice. It is situated on a very practical, dark blue insert of hard plastic, in which besides the 7 holes for the banknotes, 2 for the hotels and houses also is one in which the banker's property cards can be placed upright. The Chance (Entoli) cards have a red back with a ? and the Community Chest (Apofasi) cards a blue back with treasure chest. There are twice as many banknotes, as happen more often with special editions of Monopoly. But meanwhile the denominations have been increased by a factor 1000! The 7 values are now 100.000 - 500.000 - 1.000.000 - 2.000.000 - 5.000.000 - 10.000.000 and 50.000.000. It doesn't look very nice to play with all those (superfluous?) noughts! The notes are of the new design, this means a.o. without any mention of copyright and with 3x a mention of the value. The green houses and red hotels are made of nice glossy wood.
One glance on the picture at the bottom of the box shows what is described above.

The price of this set amounted to DR 9750 (US$ 35.-) in November 1996.

Edition: Standard, ref. 14535110
Publisher: Parker/Tonka/Hasbro Hellas S.A. - 1996
Dimensions of the box: 26.8 x 40.0 cm
of the double folded board: 25.2 x 25.2 cm
The game:
This edition is a sample of the "new look" of the games who are manufactured in the Irish works! The fresh white box shows a red bar and a part of the fourth side of the board on the cover. The width and the length of the boxes are standardized for all of their games HASBRO told us. So herewith the LONG BOX we called STANDARD so far DISAPPEARS.
This new box contains a red plastic tray insert with newly shaped slots for the banknotes and title cards of the banker. The board is folded in four like in the so-called "small box". The back side is red and the play side is blue green. The set is manufactured in Ireland and so it has again a picture of a "laughing family" at the back of the box. On the board are the nice Chance and Community Chest cards of this game. The banknotes are of the new model, i.e. with a (black) MONOPOLY ribbon and Uncle Pennybags in the upper part of the circle and, almost unvisible, the remark "1996 Tonka Corporation".
The 10 tokens are of pewter (with remark "manufactured in China"). The green, plastic houses do have a chimney, the red hotels don't.

The price of this set amounted to DR 7900 (US$ 26.-) in August 1998.

Greek DeLuxe edition, 1996.Edition: Monopoly Deluxe Edition, Ref. 14549/110
Publisher: Parker Bros./Hasbro Hellas S.a.- 1996
Dimensions of the box: 26.8 x 40.3 x 8.8 cm
of the double folded board: 25.2 x 25.2 cm
The game:
Again a great issue of "the famous party game". The box has the same length and width sizes as the one of the "standard" edition, in contrast to the American Deluxe edition, of which the box is still long.
Unfortunately both these boxes are rather vulnerable, but the content is well taken care of: In the box are, besides the solid game board (with dark blue back) a soft plastic insert with 4 trays for the houses and hotels, but in particular the never before used "Banker's Tray", a well shaped money-and cards-holder of solid blue plastic. You have to put the separate stickers on both this tray as well as the 2 separate card holders (for the Chance and Community Chest cards) yourself. The clear color picture at the bottom of the box gives a good total impression of the set.

This time the lid shows the third side of the game board, so with the properties Korai street - Omonia square - Station (for the direction) Larissa - Stadium street - University street  and a part of the tap, on which 2 of the 10 gold colored tokens are to be seen.
The banknotes are the same as those of the "standard" edition. The 10 gold colored tokens are respectively: boat - wheel-barrow - shoe - thimble - top hat - dog - iron - car - rider on a horse and canon.
The houses and hotels are made of nice glossy wood

Edition: WC Football Edition France 98, ref. 19618110
Publisher: Parker Bros./Hasbro Hellas S.a. - 1997
Dimensions of the box: 40 x 27 x 6.5 cm
The game:
This is a box in the colors dark blue, silver and of course red.

The game board spaces can hardly be found on the cover, but so a couple of soccer players, eachone in an energic posture but not in a match position! On the bottom of the box is again a clear picture of the game board and its attributes. Besides it shows that an INNERBOX AS FOOTBALL GROUND is supplied with the set! It also strikes that the Chance and Community Chest cards are replaced by EKTOS and ENTOS cards, with of course matching texts like "Transfer to Brasil" and "You have missed a penalty. Pay 2000 fine".

The bankers tray is of soft dark blue plastic and has a special space for the square game board. In this game the properties are of course national soccer teams, viz. those of the 22 best clubs of the official worldlist as it is composed by the FIFA on the basis of the results of the countries in all worldcup finals since 1930! On the game board they are respectively: SCOTLAND - SWITSERLAND - ROMANIA - CHILE - MEXICO - BELGIUM - AUSTRIA - CZECHOSLOVAKIA - THE NETHERLANDS - POLAND - HUNGARY - YUGOSLAVIA - FRANCE - SWEDEN - URUGUAY - RUSSIA - SPAIN - ENGLAND - ARGENTINE - ITALY - GERMANY and BRASIL. (In this Greece does NOT occur!) The spaces have the well-known colored bars and are furthermore characterized by a T-shirt of the concerning country!

The stations are replaced by the 4 most important stadiums of France, viz. STADE VELODROME of Marseille, STADE DU PARC DE PRINCES in Paris, LE STADE DE FRANCE in Saint-Denis and STADE DE GERLAND of Lyon.

The 2 public utilities are now ELECTRIC WORKS and SOFT DRINK MANUFACTURER (marked by a red beaker but not of Coca Cola!). It is remarkable that one can be sent to JAIL in this game as well!
The 8 tokens are resp. a shoe, cap, beaker, hamburger (?), goal, whistle, bal and the (gold colored) FIFA Worldcup Trophy (with the mark "1974 FIFA TM© in the base).
